Thursday Jan 29 Car Building Workshop  - 6:00-9:30pm in the Raphael Hall.  Various power tools and hand tools will be available to make good progress towards completion of your car.  This is a great opportunity for people who do not have their own wood-working tools.  Due to safety issues, only an adult can use the power tools (such as saws and drills).  Paint will not be available at this workshop – that should be done at home.  Parents are required to stay with their son during the workshop (no dropping off).
Thursday Feb 19 Initial Opportunity for Registration - 5:30-6:30pm in Raphael Hall.  This is also a good opportunity to see if your car will make weight and otherwise comply with the rules.  Scouts can also register and turn in their cars if finished, however this is not the final deadline.
Friday Feb 20 OFFICIAL DEADLINE.for Derby Registration -  6:30-8:00pm (sharp) in Ignatius Hall -  Scouts MUST have their car registered and turned in by Friday at 8:00 pm or they cannot race on Saturday!   Some tools might be available for last minute adjustments, however bring your own tools to be safe.  All registered cars will be impounded in the “garage” (i.e., scouts will not be able to handle their car again until Saturday morning right before their race and that will be only to lube it)
